CongregationU Has Your Risk Management Needs Covered

Tuesday, August 8th, 2017

In a church environment, risk management is a team effort. While worship, children’s education, and other activities are happening, there are many people working behind the scenes to ensure everyone is safe, secure, and well-cared-for. How do you make sure all of your team members are on the same page?

With CongregationU, you can train all of your clergy, staff, volunteers, and church members on risk management and other topics they need to know about. Currently, there are nearly 40 courses available—with more coming soon!

Each user can train at his or her own pace online. Churches can buy courses individually, or try a cost-effective bundle to get all courses in the training bundle for one low price.

The well-being of everyone in your church is a team effort. Make sure you have the right training and risk management strategies in place!

A Wise Investment in your Church’s Future

Tuesday, August 8th, 2017

Learning is not the same today as it was several years ago. Access to technology has changed the landscape of learning, enabling churches to maximize limited resources. With CongregationU, churches and faith-based organizations can train anytime, anywhere!

Online training works because it can reach a greater audience in a shorter period of time. No more meetings to schedule and reschedule, leaving some people untrained because they can’t attend on the scheduled dates. No need for childcare or shuffling building use while your congregants are being trained. When you offer online training, you equip your clergy, staff, volunteers, and members with the tools to make a difference.

CongregationU can help your church—large or small—train on topics that your clergy, staff, and volunteers need to know about: church security, abuse prevention, church management, human resources, health and wellness, and more.

Many churches today work with limited resources, tight budgets, and time constraints. With a training bundle, you can meet your training needs while keeping your eye on the bottom line.

Safe Gatherings Introduces CongregationU

Friday, April 8th, 2016

Dear Friends,

Safe Gatherings is a trusted name in screening and training to help protect children, youth, and vulnerable adults, but many of you have expressed a need for training that goes beyond abuse prevention and boundary awareness, and we are responding to your requests.

It is with great excitement that I introduce you to our new sister company, CongregationU. CongregationU provides the tools you need to educate your staff, volunteers and members through e-learning specifically designed for the church environment. Your church can use CongregationU to:

  • Share information throughout the church in a consistent way,
  • Unite your congregation through e-learning,
  • Train volunteers at a time that is convenient for them, and
  • Assign courses to individual members, staff, clergy, or volunteers and track completed training.

We have focused on making Safe Gatherings as simple and effective as possible, and we’ve now applied those same principles to training your entire congregation on topics related to safety and security, technology, leadership and management, and other relevant subject areas. No church is too big or too small to provide consistent, relevant training and support to members, clergy, staff, and volunteers.

Click here to view our initial course offerings.  With your input, we will be expanding our list of available courses on an ongoing basis!

Through CongregationU, you can focus efforts on fellowship and discussion of more in-depth topics instead of spending hours of training on the day-to-day operations of the church. You can assign and track relevant courses, and know that every person is receiving the same information, delivered consistently every time. Your leaders now become the resources they are meant to be.

Please contact the CongregationU team to set up a demo or learn more. I am confident CongregationU will assist in freeing up time to focus on the real missions of your church, within its walls and beyond, into the communities and world we share.  We look forward to being of service!

With gratitude,

Sharon Holt
