As congregations everywhere struggle to make decisions about if, how, and when to return to in-person worship and other activities, the cleanliness of your facility and personal safety of your congregation are key components.

CongregationU’s “Cleaning and Disinfecting Your Worship Facility” online course contains key information on how to prepare your worship facility for re-opening, including cleaning checklists and information for most common areas of worship facilities, as well as best practices to protect your congregation in situations such as greeting, communion, communications and other topics important during the COVID-19 pandemic.

While we recommend that all places of worship follow state and local guidelines and put emphasis on the safety and well-being of their members and visitors, we want to ensure that when you do determine that the time has come to reopen, you have as much information as possible to protect everyone you serve. 

This one-hour course is designed to cover the diverse aspects of cleaning and disinfecting your facility, no matter its size, and incorporating current additional safe practices. The cost is $20 per user, and is included in CongregationU bundled courses.
